'Operation MWR' concert ticket holders are reminded that visitor passes must be completed by May 22. They're also encouraged to review other event details, including parking and the bag and prohibited items policies that will be in effect.

Pax River Outdoor Pool Opens May 25

The NAS Patuxent River Outdoor Pool will open for the season on Saturday, May 25. The pool is open to all with base access Tuesday-Sunday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. It is closed on Mondays, except for holidays.

Swim Lesson Registration Begins

NAS Patuxent River and NRC Solomons have announced their 2024 summer swim lesson schedule. Registration for lessons at the NAS Patuxent River Outdoor Pool is currently underway at the Drill Hall Sports & Fitness Office. General registration for NRC Solomons will begin May 28.

Pax River Teen Center Hosting Canned Food Drive

The Teen Center's Keystone Club is holding a canned food drive through May 31. Donations are accepted at the Rassieur Youth Center and will be given to a local food bank.
